I know Judah just got the spotlight last post, but I'm pretty sure I've landed on my favorite age.
And he is it.
I love that 12-18 month phase where they're still a baby, but turning into a toddler.
A little more independent, but still need to be rocked to bed at night.
They've still got that baby look, but are figuring the world out with each moment that comes.
I'm pretty sure Judah hasn't grasped the whole "momma/dada" meaning yet.
But he sure as heck knows what sound a car makes.
He's figuring out his little world, and it's fun to watch.
I hear the fumbling and bumbling of whatever toy he has. Or just run across the remnants of his last play.
It's the best. The best age all around. He's sleeping and eating and not nursing (as much). He can walk and play and hug. And the world's just intriguing enough to inquire, but not yet mastered enough to challenge. It's great.
He's great. And I desperately don't want to miss a thing.
