It's a snow day today. Which means absolutely nothing for Rori and I - we'll still stay inside, go nowhere and follow our normal routine. And other than all the news and posts about the snow - I probably wouldn't have known the difference. Brian on the other hand got up at a crazy hour to go plow his school's parking lot and I hear he was there for six hours. OH MY! I'm already planning on a great dinner for him tonight.
Even if the snow day doesn't make a different in Rori and I's day, we HAVE chosen to celebrate it. I did my celebrating by filling Rori's crib with toys and books early this morning and gave myself a day to sleep in. Rori got all her barricades taken away and is thoroughly enjoying going into all the places she's never allowed - her silence always being my cue to go investigate. And I would add that I've made today a designated sweatpants day, but lets be honest, I'm going on day number three of that. That's not my norm, I promise.
So happy snow day. And no, no pictures once again. Our camera is out of commission for the time being.
